Miyako, Dubai’s first authentic Japanese restaurant at Hyatt Regency Dubai, has completely been remodeled, re-owned and reopened in January 2005. Now the restaurant offers a modern and authentic look to its clients, setting the scene for some of the finest Japanese dining in Dubai. The restaurant itself is divided into three different dining experiences which are: a private, live teppanyaki room and the main dining area with a sushi bar and an intimate tatami room.
If you ever wondered the meaning of the restaurant, Miyako means “the capital” in Japanese. The new look of the restaurant is inspired by traditional Japanese elements like Tatami weaves, Shou-Sogi-Ban, paper parasols, rustic cobblestone streets and so forth. In this chic Japanese restaurant you will have an option of an excellent selection of classic sushi such as tuna sashimi, mixed with more unusual flavors such as eel, cream cheese and asparagus or California rolls.
Good to Know
Eating sushi here is definitely a must. There are plenty of types in the restaurant but we recommend you try California rolls – crabstick and vegetable with mayonnaise and Salmon avocado maki.
